Reviews
Small it might seem, but the BioParc is truly a wonderful place with loads of fun and love to offer!
The animals are well cared for and they’re full of stories - some of them are saddening but educational at the same time.
I highly recommend booking a guided tour/feeding session. I was lucky enough to participate one, which opened up another dimension beyond the usual ‘zoo experience’. People behind BioParc are passionate and forward thinking. Even as a tourist, I’m left super excited about their current and future projects!
Nice but quite small park with animals. Animals look well-cared for. Their enclosures are generally suitable for their comfort, and clearly the animals are relaxed. Definitely worth a visit. I think allocating 2 hours for a visit would be more than enough.
I love this park and it's mission as an animal sanctuary. There have been big changes recently to make the visitor experience better, with a new entrance, clearer signage, improved paths and an events space for kids birthday parties. Annual membership is still 50sf. The day I visited, there were many more volunteers than I've ever seen before, which was great to see. The animals remain the main reason to visit, and there have been some improvements to habitats, though many remain a bit small. But it's not a for profit zoo, but rather a non profit, volunteer run centre for rescue animals, and I love it for that.
Wonderful place! Very friendly staff.
You can enter for the first time free of charge. Donations are always welcome.
You can watch there both birds and planes (they fly really low above the park).
Amazing place. You can see animals are taken care of with true love and devotion. Very beautiful. Donations are welcomed to support the good work.
A well managed zoo with special animals. Not far nor crowded. Worthy of visiting than the Basel Zoo.
The Bioparc is a must-visit location in Geneva.
The immersive aspect of the experience allowed us to get closer than ever to the animals and, for certain species, share their space for a brief period of time. We were walking just alongside the wallabies without any barriers!
The first visit is free, meaning that you can have a good few hours of fun (especially if you bring a picnic - there’s a dedicated picnic area) at absolutely no cost.
I recommend going to see the beautiful animals at the Bioparc without any hesitation at all.
Small zoo with great animals, need little time to visit whole area and public transport are available
